In most cases the failure of high or low beams is due to a relay or switch problem and the troubleshooting procedure is similar to the one outlined above.
High beam relay fuse.
Each rh and lh line need 10a inline fuse.

I have the relays and everything to make it happen but not sure on which fuse if there is one.
Is there a fuse under the hood of a 15 silverado for the high beams.

Power for the relay electromagnet coil is from connection mb 24 which comes from the biu page 1.
However as i said in the begining i m not a big fan of installing unnecessary relays or fuses so i consider how much of this relay package is not really needed.
J 01 pin am also split for 12v feed input for relay 30 87 split into rh and lh high beam feed lines.
Mb 24 also powers the headlight relays so if the there was power at the high beam fuses that means the high beam headlight relay is working and that in turn means connection mb 24 is getting power from the biu.
If relay is the location having problem by bypassing those lines with externally set relay should bypass problem.
The relay is controlled by the biu.
Check your owner s manual to be sure which kind of high beam bulb you need and get familiar with the fuse box in case the high beams stop working.

The difference is that some vehicles have a separate relay just for the high beams and the high beam passing or dimmer switch may or may not be integrated into the headlight switch.
