I just need to know if there are any hidden tabs in there that i might break unless i toally remove the panel first.

I was pulling it toward the front of the car do not do that. I see the 2 nuts under the covers one at each end and then i saw the white clips underneath. Get fingers under the piece between headliner and trim gently pull down and towards the rear.
